What is School Leaver Employment Assistant/ Supports?

Are you about to finish school or have you just left school? Do you want to build your confidence and become ‘job ready’? 

That’s where Highfields Disability Service’s School Leaver Employment assistance can help.  

Our program is an NDIS support for young people with a disability across Queensland region. It can help you kick-start your career by building up your job skills, confidence and independence , and it’s available to any of identified person after two year finish school. 

The aims of this support can:  

• Build motivation for joining the workforce

• Develop vital employment skills 

• Develop your ‘career identity’ 

• Grow confidence in a work environment  

• Gain a nationally recognized qualification.
